CRCCDA
Officially founded in May 2000, CRCCDA (Curaçao Radio Control Cars Drivers Association) is a local non-profit association dedicated primarily to promote practice of the radio controlled cars hobby/sport and secondary to provide the practitioners with a creative, balanced and relaxing environment to practice the hobby/sport in a positive manner.
To reach its goals the club:
- Organizes weekly training meetings for his members and potential members at a local parking lot.
- Organizes yearly a 7 races point series championship.
- Organizes an Open Invitational Race and invites fellow RC drivers from abroad.
Prepares seminars for RC cars practitioners to further improve their technical and driving skills.
The Club is governed by a Constitution, Field and Membership rules that are enforced by the membership and a Board of Officers. Officers are nominated and elected on an annual basis by the membership for a term of 1 year.
Board positions include:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Field Officers
The Board meets on a regular basis to discuss outstanding business and the state of the Club.
The club is open to every citizens of the island who wants to become an eligible member.
